The car seat is a group 1/2/3 car seat for children from 9-36 kg, from approx. 9 months up to 12 years, that attaches to the car with latches for extra safety and stability. Reaching 15 kg, you can take out the impact shield and you can use it as a Solution B-Fix car seat group 2/3.

Stiftung Warentest & ADAC Car Seat Test Results 05/2020: Best in Class Result for Pallas B-Fix

Fantastic news: The Pallas B-Fix child car seat was evaluated in several car seat tests in May 2020, emerging as the best rated car seat in its group with an overall rating* of 2.4. The Stiftung Warentest and the ADAC—as well as other independent consumer organizations—tested the child safety seat for the following factors:

• Safety: The Pallas B-Fix received a safety rating of 2.4, a reflection of the high car seat testing standards that CYBEX maintains.
• Ergonomics: The Pallas B-Fix was rated 1.9 for ergonomics—a comfortable car seat providing great support.
• Handling: Easy to use and install, the Pallas B-Fix scored 2.5 for handling.
• Harmful Substances: The Pallas B-Fix is constructed of safe, quality materials, leading to a rating of 2.0 for absence of harmful substances

Who conducts the car seat tests?

Once or twice a year car seats are selected to be tested by a number of leading independent consumer organizations: the German Stiftung Warentest and ADAC, the Austrian ÖAMTC and the Swiss TCS. These tests evaluate car seats for factors including crash test safety, ergonomics, and handling, and are seen as among the most important tests in the industry.
